WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI - A construction company hired by Superior Township for work on a sewer pump station said in a new lawsuit the township owes it at least $2.2 million after officials terminated the firm’s contract earlier this year.

Farmington Hills-based LaSalle Construction Services has sued Superior Township, alleging a breach of its contract and seeking payment for work it performed for the township, according to the company’s complaint, filed in Washtenaw County Circuit Court on Aug. 17.
